Load Balancing for Alpha Five

The cloud provides the flexibility to rapidly scale an Alpha Five application (up or down).  We can scale Alpha applications up first by adding RAM in 1 GB increments. When a Cloud Instance has 4GB we add another Cloud Instance and hook it up to a load balancer.

 

We have nodes located in the following cities:

  • Amsterdam, Netherlands
  • Dallas, TX
  • San Jose, CA
  • Seattle, WA
  • Singapore
  • Washington, D.C.

 

Cloud Instances can be Load Balanced locally (within a particular datacenter) or globally (any of the datacenters).


Load Balancers can be configured to handle up to 5000 simultaneous connections locally or 1000 simultaneous connections globally.


Cloud Instances can be cloned and placed in a Template Library. This makes it easy to spin up an application quickly in any of the datacenters.


Automatic off-site backup is available in all datacenters.


Data storage is avalable locally to a cloud instance or on SAN.


Bare Metal Cloud Instances (No Virtualization Layer) are available for high I/O applications.


Private Clouds are available for a more secure environment.
